site. All marketing and fulfillment services are performed in the
publisher’s name. All promotion materials and service calls carry the
publisher’s logo so that we become, in a real sense, an extension of the
publisher’s marketing department — dedicated to increasing book sales and
the name recognition of the publisher, their authors and titles.

Market Recognition. Through IPM, you can immediately benefit from
our strong existing relationships with all major U.S. library and bookstore
wholesalers who welcome the convenience of consolidated ordering from IPM’s
publisher clients.

National Sales Representation. IPM retains the services of, and
maintains a close working relationship with sales groups who sell to the
bookstores, libraries and specialty retailers. We also personally
represent our publishers directly to the major wholesalers and national chains.

Extensive Book Marketing Experience. IPM has expertise in
developing effective mailing, advertising and publicity campaigns. In addition,
our Web site features a ‘home page’ for each of our publisher clients and the
capability of ordering all the titles IPM carries. The web site features the
most current data on every title, including endorsements and media reviews
making it an excellent marketing tool.

Close Working Relationship with Publishers. IPM offers market,
pricing, packaging and editorial advice; and aims to provide a close working
relationship with client publishers. Our principals, Jane Graf, Kathleen
Hughes, and Azad Ajamian are always available for planning and consultation.

First Class Book Fulfillment. Through our sister company, Books
International (BI), IPM offers first class order fulfillment, warehousing,
customer service and data processing.

The Cat’s Pajamas. Utilizing BI’s Cat’s Pajamas software, one of
the most respected programs in the business, IPM provides database management
that allows for development of targeted direct marketing, and access to myriad
marketing reports that permit publisher and IPM staff to make intelligent
