Welcome to Allison & Busby
Allison & Busby was founded in 1967 by Clive Allison and Margaret Busby and gained a reputation for publishing quality writers of an individual cast and excellence. Allison & Busby over the years has developed four main publishing themes:
  1. Writers’ Guides. A successful series of guides which give guidance to would-be writers in all fields of prose and poetry writing and self-publishing.
  2. Contemporary & Literary fiction. Mainstream and original fiction.
  3. Crime fiction. March 2000 saw the introduction of a new crime fiction list. Additionally, some of the more prestigious genre writers have been collected into omnibus editions.
  4. Biography. Predominantly biographies of writers, and historical figures. History. A small list which covers history from the fourteenth century to the Second World War.
