About The Authors:

SEAN O'TOOLE is the Director of Learning and Development for the Community Services arm of the NSW Department of Human Services. He has also worked as a journalist and as a designated detective with the Australian Federal Police. He recently completed post-graduate studies in organizational behavior at Harvard University. Sean is the author of four books on topics related to crime and criminology, including The History of Australian Corrections, and Corrections Criminology.

NATALIE FERRES is an Associate Director at Bendelta, a management advisory firm that assists organizations to achieve results through strategic people initiatives. Natalie’s keynotes and conference papers have been delivered in Australia, Canada, the UK (Oxford), the US, Greece, South Africa, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Italy. She also continues as a Consulting Partner for Emotional Intelligence Development Australia and as a contract lecturer for the Adelaide Graduate School of Business. She has worked extensively in projects that assist to develop human potential.

JULIA CONNELL is Professor and Dean of Graduate Studies, Australian Catholic University, North Sydney. Prior to this Julia was Associate Dean Postgraduate Programs, UTS Business; Chair of Research, University of Wollongong in Dubai; Associate Dean International University of Newcastle. Julia worked in various public and private sector organizations in the UK before joining The Henley College, Oxford. Julia has co-edited four books, published over 40 refereed journal articles and co-edited nine special issue journal editions.
