Description:

The goal of Practical Strategy is to enable a wide range of readers and users—from students to senior managers—to apply strategy models, frameworks and theories within a practical context.

Contents include:

* How to think strategically
* How to identify key strategic issues,
* How to identify and better manage stakeholders,
* How to better manage strategic transformation, and
* How to identify the business that you are in.

The unique outlook of this book is its emphasis upon applying strategy in practice. It is written by Professor Gary Stockport, who is globally experienced in applying strategic models, frameworks and theories through working with a wide variety of public and private sector organizations over very many years. The practical advice, tips, insight and wisdom within the book is based upon his experience of practicing strategy leant at the ’coal face’ of organizations. The book includes some strategy questionnaires which have been tried and tested within organizations.
