JAN BRACE-GOVAN, PhD (Edin), is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing at Monash University in Melbourne. Her current research involves the human aspects of consumption and culture, particularly in alternative and non-commercial contexts and spaces that take interaction and communication between people into account. Jan has teaching commitments in Marketing and in Research units, and supervises a number of PhD and Honours candidates. She has also published extensively in journals and book chapters.
